Global Scholars Program Service Event - Duck Derby

Join the GSP in volunteering at the Duck Derby in City Park, to benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank on Saturday September 28th!

We will have 2 shifts:

Duck Activity Tents from 11:am – 3:00pm, where volunteers will help to work at various activity tents at Second Harvest's annual Duck Derby fundraiser at Big Lake in City Park. Tasks include selling food and drinks, selling duck-themed merchandise, and staffing activity tents. 

Duck Scoopers from 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm, where Volunteers will help to scoop up 30,000+ rubber ducks out of Big Lake in City Park after Second Harvest's annual Duck Derby fundraiser. Tasks include scooping ducks out of the water, packing ducks into bins, loading bins onto Second Harvest's truck, and helping with event breakdown.
